Welcome to the Trinidad and Tobago home page for Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEETT). Established locally in 1982, we are a community of volunteers that organise and share experiences during marriage preparation weekends to serve the Archdiocese of Port of Spain. Although we are not professionals, we follow guidelines and presentation outlines developed by our international organisation. We at CEETT join with our parent body and celebrate 50 years since the establishment of Catholic Engaged Encounter in 1974.
We welcome you to browse our pages and hope that you will consider making an Engaged Encounter weekend a part of your marriage preparation. It may be the greatest gift you can give to your future spouse.
To see some of our 40th Anniversary celebrations check out
our Facebook & Instagram pages and our 40th Anniversary Magazine.
Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) provides quality marriage preparation for couples who are planning to marry in the Catholic Church. However, couples who are not Catholic are also welcome to attend one of our weekends. In the Caribbean the programme is available in Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and Dominica.

CEETT is Live once more!
After almost two and a half years of virtual weekends, in person weekends resumed with the weekend of November 18-20 2022 and we are back at the Emmaus Centre in Arima.
What will the accommodations look like?
Most rooms at the centre are double occupancy and we will also be utilising dormitories at 50% occupancy, at this time.
All rooms and dormitories will be single sex. This means that engaged couples will not be rooming together on the weekend.
When should you register?
We suggest that you register for a weekend at least six months prior to your intended wedding date. This ensures that if you are unable to attend, due to a positive COVID-19 test or any other illness or emergency, you can be facilitated on another weekend.
If you have any concerns, we encourage you to address them prior to registration.
We look forward to serving you as you prepare for the sacrament.
God Bless.
